Petition against Same-Sex Marriages Placed on the President’s Site

On March 12 a petition against the legalization of same-sex marriages in Ukraine was placed on the President’s site.

"Dear Mr. President! Listen to Christians and read the Bible (Romans 1: 26-28). We call you to step in to stop this disgrace. Otherwise God will give you over to “a depraved mind” and people — to even more troubles," the document says.

The petition submitted will be considered by the President of Ukraine if it receives 25 thousand votes. To date, it has collected more than 600 votes.

We remind that on March 10, the Cabinet of Ministers issued a "plan of action to implement the National Strategy for Human Rights for the period until 2020", which provides for the legalization of same-sex partnerships, adoption of children by transgender people and creation of a juvenile justice system.
