Metropolitan of Odessa and Izmail refuses to participate in the Pan-Orthodox Council
A member of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Odessa and Izmail Agafangel refused to participate in the upcoming Pan-Orthodox Council, reports the press service of the Odessa diocese.
The statement says that "A permanent member of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Eminence Agafangel, Metropolitan of Odessa and Izmail refused to participate in the upcoming Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church".
We recall that the decision of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of 19.04. 2016 (journal №22) Metropolitan Agafangel was included in the delegation of the UOC.
