MIA minister advises radicals to "cool down" during Cross procession

Minister of the Interior Arsen Avakov called on "radical and pro-Ukrainian organizations to cool down a bit" at the time of the All-Ukrainian Cross procession in Kiev. This is reported by the TV channel "112 Ukraine".

"We have enough strength, determination and will, the latter even too much, to stop the situation. So Kiev residents have nothing to worry about. What we are concerned with at the moment is that when a large number of faithful, older people, women, etc. arrive here, it may be used by destructive forces for some kind of terrorist act. So we direct all our efforts to prevent it, to ensure the security of the moment," – said the Minister.

Avakov called on "radical and pro-Ukrainian organizations to cool down a bit", "the state has enough strength and opportunities to stop this situation," – he added.

Recall, Parliament Speaker Andrei Parubiy said that the Russian government is preparing a provocation during the procession of Orthodox believers in Kiev. According to him, the enemy is developing plans to destabilize the situation in Ukraine through the creation of an artificial political crisis and unrest in the streets.
