Metropolitan Bartholomew (Vaschuk): I am glad that we have such a head of the Church (VIDEO)

His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine is a man who wishes with all his heart there was peace and harmony in our Church. This was said by Metropolitan Bartholomew of Rivne and Ostroh at the celebration of the second anniversary of the enthronement of His Beatitude, reports a UOJ correspondent.

"The Council elected, by taking a reasonable decision, Metropolitan Onuphry the head of the Church. This is a very gentle, humble man, an intelligent man, a man responsible for the Church affairs, which arise in our Church. And a man who wishes with all his heart there was peace and harmony in our Church," he said.

"And if there is peace and harmony in our Church, then, hopefully, it will be in our country. Because the small breeds the big," the Bishop stressed.

"I am glad that we have such a head of our Church. I can only say in the words of Apostle Paul: "such a bishop we like," he concluded.
