Catholic Relief Services intends to provide financial aid to UGCC

Catholic Relief Services is an analogue of US-based CF "Caritas", founded by the American Episcopal Conference. This organization provides financial support and acts as a mediator, through which the US government sends humanitarian aid.
According to Father Andrei Nahirniak, head of the Department of Social Affairs of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC, Vice President of ICF "Caritas Ukraine", Catholic Relief Services is one of the largest donors, because its aids more than 10 million US dollars. "This is a monitoring visit, the participants want to see how the projects supported by the Catholic service in Europe are implemented," Father Andrei said.
