UOC delegation congratulates Athos monks on the Protection of the Mother of God

Bishop Barsanuphius on behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church congratulates the abbort of St. Panteleimon’s Monastery on Mount Athos, reports the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

On the feast day of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, October 14, with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine the delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church headed by Bishop Barsanuphius of Borodianka took part in a festive service at the Intercession Church of the monastery.

On behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Bishop Barsanuphius congratulated hegumen Eulogy (Ivanov) on his election as abbot of one of the most famous monasteries of Mount Athos.
