Kiev Patriarchate Chief accused UAOC of serving Moscow

Such a statement was made by Patriarch Filaret during his visit to Ternopil, as reported by Misto.

“Autocephalous Church refused to unite with the Kiev Patriarchate. Twice have we approached this level when chiefs of the two churches could be convened for this end. But they quit in the eleventh hour.

Therefore, we do not see any prospects in getting united with this Church. We will never get on with its administration, since they serve Moscow. Moscow will not let them unite with us. 25 years have proven my conviction.”
