Teens planning to "bomb Christmas" arrested in Belgium

Dutch police arrested 10 teenagers who were suspected of planning a series of terrorist attacks at Christmas markets, reports the newspaper Laatste Nieuws.
 
According to reports, a group of terror suspects arrested in Belgium were planning attacks in crowded places, including the main railway station in Antwerp, the country’s second-largest city. The detained suspects were also reportedly in contact with Hicham Chaïb, an Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) fighter from Belgium. The information about the detention of adolescents was confirmed by the prosecutor's office spokesman Eric Van Der Sypt. He said that at present in Belgium" a dozen cases involving minors who have been recruited in the same way by the terrorist organizations to prepare or commit an attack are under investigation."
