On Theophany waters of two oceans to be sanctified

On Theophany Orthodox priests sanctify waters of the two world's oceans - the Atlantic and the Pacific, reports Foma (Thomas).

The waters of the Atlantic Ocean will be blessed by the clergy of the Russian parish in Reykjavik, Iceland.

"We are going to the ocean to bathe," said the rector of St. Nicholas Church in Reykjavik Fr.Timothy Zolotusky.

In addition, the clergy of the Russian Church in Thailand will make the Great blessing of water on the shore of the Gulf of Siam of the South China Sea, the Pacific Ocean.

It is noted that the waters of the Pacific Ocean will be sanctified in Russia too – the Sea of Japan in Novik Bay in Primorye and the Sea of Okhotsk in the Bay of Gertner in the Magadan region.
