New pilgrim service is available at the UOC

A new pilgrim service “Omophorion” was registered on 15 March at Holy Archangel Michael Zverinetsky monastery, according to the site of the UOC Pilgrimage Center.

The service will be in charge of organization of pilgrimages across Ukraine and abroad. The service director is Andrey Kovalenko.

There are 47 pilgrim services which are registered at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Among them are diocesan, monastery and parish services providing both the reception of pilgrims who travel to Ukraine and pilgrimages to sanctities of the Ecumenical Orthodoxy.

All pilgrimage organizations are subject to the registration procedure in order to carry out their activities.
