The priest of UOC wins the superfinal of the show "Voice of the Country-7" (VIDEO)

On April 23, the superfinal of the vocal show "Voice of the Country-7" was broadcast live on the channel "1 + 1". The winner of the show was the priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Alexander Klimenko, reports the website of the television channel.

Alexander Klimenko performed the song "Mother's Love" written by Nikolai Mozgovoy during "blind auditions".

"Thanks to the Triune God for the talented people. Let us be united. Let us bring peace and love," Fr. Alexander said.

Four finalists competed for the victory in the project and the main prize: Alexander Klimenko from Tina Karol’s team, Ingret Kostenko from Potap’s team, Anna Kuksa from Jamala’s team and Vera Kekelia from Babkin’s team.

Solo performances of superfinalists and duets with star coaches were very bright, however, the greatest number of audience votes was given to Fr. Alexander Klimenko.

The superfinal consisted of three rounds. At the end of each one, one of the participants, who received the lowest votes of the viewers, was out of the competition.

Two contestants made the final round: Fr. Alexander and 19-year-old singer from Vinnitsa Ingret Kostenko. Both of them performed exactly the same songs that they sang on "blind auditions": Ingret Kostenko – "Birdie (Ptashechka)", and Alexander Klimenko – "Mother's Love", which made the audience cry.

"You came to the show as a talented singer-amateur, but you left it as a top professional," Potap told Fr. Alexander. "The way you overcame difficulties and trials, what good and love you brought the audience each time ... We all have something to learn from you!"
