After reading the Holy Gospel, His Beatitude granted awards to the clergy of the Chernivtsi diocese, congratulated the flock on the Feast of the Bright Resurrection and anointed all with holy oil. After the greetings, the Primate handed out gifts to the children.
The Bright Week ends on Thomas Sunday, which is the renewal of Pascha or Antipascha (the Greek prefix, anti, means “in place of”).
