Primate of UOC honours memory of victims of political repressions

On May 21, the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine honored the memory of victims of political repressions in the territory of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Bykovnia graves", reports the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

His Beatitude was accompanied by the chancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony of Borispol and Brovary.

The archpastors of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church commemorated all the dead and laid flowers at the common grave.

As reported by the UOJ, on the 80th anniversary of the beginning of mass political repressions of 1937-1938, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine sent an Address to the Ukrainian public and the flock of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
