UOC parish from Kolomyia warns OSCE and SBU on upcoming temple seizure

At the session of the City Council in Kolomyia, deputies and activists raised the issue of changing the jurisdiction of the UOC community of the church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin. According to the UOJ source, options are considered for the community either to move to the Kyiv Patriarchate or to Greek Catholics, or to make a museum out of the operating church.

The community of the UOC of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Kolomyia has already sent a letter to the OSCE describing the situation at hand. Also, the faithful warned the SBU about the possible capture of their temple.

Every Sunday, at the service in the church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, about 100 parishioners gather.

The UOJ follows developments.
