Representatives of UOC discuss prospects for cooperation of clergy with Ministry of Education
The clergymen discussed with the representative of the relevant ministry issues of teaching spiritual subjects at secondary and higher educational institutions of Ukraine. The civil servant spoke about the draft of the new law of Ukraine on education, proposed by the Committee.
During the meeting, issues of prospects for cooperation between clergymen of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and officials of the Ministry of Education and Science were also discussed.
Alexander Sych is Deputy Director of the Legal Support Department and holds the position of Head of the Normative Work and Legal Expertise Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Archpriest Vladislav teaches pedagogy at the Kiev Theological Academy and also holds the post of Кector of the highest Orthodox theological courses named after St. Vladimir at the All-Ukrainian Orthodox Pedagogical Society, where Archimandrite Filaret is also a teacher of spiritual disciplines.
