Parishioners of the Holy Annunciation church continue their prayerful standing near the closed doors of their temple, as reported by Ivano-Frankovsk eparchy of the UOC.

Every day, during the day, believers come here, Acathistos, water-consecration services as well as cross processions are held around the Annunciation church. On holidays and on Sundays, the clergy perform the all-night vigil and the Divine Liturgy.

On Sunday, June 25, when the Orthodox Church honors the memory of the holy lands of Galicia, Archimandrite Markell (Pavuk), the confessor of the Kiev theological schools, prayerfully supported the church's believers and took part in the divine service.

Parishioners of the church are determined to defend the church and Orthodox faith to the end. "We will stand until the end, until the violated constitutional rights are restored, and the doors of the church are opened again," says the website of the diocese.

On June 4, on the Day of Pentecost, Greek Catholic priests, with the support of the Black Hundred fighters, committed an illegal seizure of the UOC temple in Kolomyia in the Carpathian Mountains. Now the temple is sealed.

The UOJ follows developments.
