Thousands of believers see in Kasperov icon of the Mother of God in Volyn eparchy (PHOTO)

On July 2, the faithful and clergy of Volyn eparchy saw in with a solemn prayer the miraculous Kasperov image of the Mother of God, who during this week will be in the temples of the towns and villages of Volyn. This is reported by the site of the eparchy.

At the entrance to Lutsk, from which the icon began its journey to Volyn eparchy, thousands of people greeted the shrine. The cross procession accompanied the icon to the Cathedral of All Saints of the Volyn land, which was led by the bishopric’s chief, His Eminence Nathanael, Bishop of Volyn and Lutsk.

Together with Vladyka, a miracle-working icon that was brought to Volyn from Odessa was accompanied by dozens of clergymen and over a thousand believers who were coming to bow to the most famous miraculous image of the South of Ukraine.

The icon of Kasperov was placed in the Cathedral of All Saints of the land of Volyn, where it stayed in a round-the-clock access for residents and visitors of the city.

On July 3 at 6:00 a.m. the Divine Liturgy was held. Further, the shrine will be transported according to the confirmed route to other deaneries of Volyn diocese of the UOC.
