Wealth is given to use it rather than replace God, – UOC Primate

During the service praying was shared by students of Kiev theological schools, numerous pilgrims and parishioners of the Kiev-Pechersk monastery.
After reading the Holy Gospel, the Primate addressed the flock with the word of the sermon.
His Beatitude explained the gospel story about the healing of the Gergesinian demoniacs, told how to live so that dark spirits could not touch your soul and body, and also what a person, who wrongly deals with wealth, can end up with.
"Wealth is given to use it, and not to replace God," the Archpastor stressed. The Primate said, "If a man builds his life on the commandments of God, which bring man closer to God, then the grace of the Lord will be on him."
During the service, a special prayer was offered for peace in Ukraine.
