In Ugrinov the priest's family waiting for eviction any day

The Supreme Court of Ukraine has dismissed the request of the UOC priest of the Ugrinov village of the Gorokhov district, the Volyn region, Archpriest Rostislav Sapozhnik. As a UOJ correspondent reports, the priest asked to review the court decisions on the lawsuit of the UOC-KP on his and his wife eviction from the church house.

The clergyman filed a claim in May. The Supreme Court finally refused to reconsider the decision of the Lokachi District Court of April 5, 2016, which had been upheld by the Appeal Court of the Volyn region before.

After the decisive response of the Supreme Court, the family of the priest in Ugrinovo is living under constant psychological pressure. Few supporters of the Kiev Patriarchate in the village say that they will come to cut the locks to help the executive service.

Meanwhile, the family has not actually been evicted, since by court decision, his sons, including the minor, remain in the church house. How the executive service will ensure the absence of parents near the son is unknown.

The Kiev Patriarchate seized the Holy Cross Church in Ugrinov on September 10, 2014. The raiders immediately also declared their own the church house where the local priest of the UOC with his regent wife and children kept on living and ministering. The invaders of the church constantly demanded a rent from the family registered in house and terrorized them and the parishioners who remained faithful to the canonical Church. In the summer of 2015, the UOC-KP privatized the house built by the UOC community and requested eviction of its inhabitants.

Those who want to support the clergyman's family of the UOC community can provide financial assistance to the Privatbank account: 4731217113670788.
