People's deputy Tymchuk takes courses in Christian ethics for dissemination of the "Russian world"
Tymchuk asserts that there is a supplementary note to the decree of the "Ministry of Education of the DNR." "The supplementary note states that in this way the clergy of the Gorlovka diocese of the UOC-MP promotes the implementation of the policy regarding the spreading of the ideology of the" Russian world "in the temporarily occupied territory and the formation of appropriate views among the local youth," insists the people's deputy.
Dmitry Tymchuk does not cite any scans of this "document". But his accusations have already begun to circulate in the Ukrainian media.
The head of the press service of the Gorlovka and Slavyansk eparchy of the UOC, Svetlana Okhrimenko, commented on the situation: "I do not understand why Ukrainian journalists were so excited about the news from the site of the Gorlovka eparchy misinterpreted by Tymchuk that another training course for teachers of Christian ethics was completed. The subject "Christian ethics in Ukrainian culture" began to be taught in the Gorlovka schools ten years ago as an elective, at the same time the eparchy began to take part in the training of teachers (by the way, there are more laymen among teachers than the clergy). Until now, electives have been taught at schools according to the programs approved by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, and the administration of the educational institution and parents, but not any structures of the proclaimed republic, decides the question of its teaching in this or that school. I would like to wish Ukrainian journalists to learn how to handle information responsibly and check the facts, and not to make "hot" news from the first Facebook post that has appeared."
Dmitry Tymchuk is one of the authors of the anti-church bill No. 4511.
