Discrimination of UOC harms the image of Ukraine, – human rights advocate

"When we held meetings with the OSCE representatives, we saw that this organization is already well informed about a lot of violations of UOC believers’ rights," Oleg Denisov said. "The scheme of raiding temples is already known. The OSCE Monitoring Mission is constantly working in Ukraine. And of course, the Ukrainian government should take this into account because further violation of rights and impunity of criminals will negatively affect the international image of Ukraine. Therefore, the state should take measures for their effective investigation and stop attempts to adopt anti-church odious bills, of which the whole world knows and understands that such projects cannot be passed in the parliaments of civilized countries, since they are openly discriminatory."
