Maidan priest of UOC-KP blesses Saakashvili for overthrow of power

The priest of the Kiev Patriarchate, Nikolai Fatich, the rector of the Archangel Michael's Church of the village of Balkovtsy, blessed Mikhail Saakashvili "to sweep away with his truth a bunch of scoundrels," referring to the current government in Ukraine. He said this on October 4 during a rally with Mikhail Saakashvili in Khmelnitsky.

"The best sons have laid their heads, and this bunch of scoundrels is profiting on this. Russia uses our officials and drives our people into slavery," the priest emphasized.

Nikolai Fatich blessed Mikhail Saakashvili and called him "an iceberg that will sweep away this bunch of scoundrels with his truth" (power).

Earlier, a group of priests of the Ternopol-Podolsk diocese of the UAOC, including Nikolai Fatich, united with the Khmelnitsky diocese of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
