Activists from S14 report about actions near the UOC temples in Chernigov

On January 9 members of organization S14 (Sich) visited several churches of the UOC in Chernigov. They denoted their visits at different times as "protest", "just came to caroling", "we want to talk", "no to FSB agents". Activists reported about the occurrence on the page of their organization in Facebook.

Members of the C14 noted that they were assisted and accompanied by representatives of the "Right Sector". Radicals visited the Trinity and Transfiguration cathedrals of the UOC. Prior to this, they posted pictures of painted memorial plaques of the Savior's Transfiguration Church in the social network, commenting on the act of vandalism as "the action of unknown patriots", whom S14 intends to support at the same time.

None of the UOC faithful bought into the provocation. Collisions did not happen.

The Consortium for the Study of Terrorism at the University of Maryland introduced the Ukrainian nationalist organization S14 ("Sich") into the global terrorism database.
