A UOC temple in the Verkhovna Rada claimed for closure

St. Vladimir Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the building of the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

The address in the Interior Ministry on behalf of the “Committee of the Electorate of Ukraine” was published by the General Director of this organization on his page in Facebook.

The political expert said he had sent an official letter to the Ministry of Internal Affairs "regarding the illegal functioning of the so-called UOC temple (the Moscow Patriarchate) in the premises of the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada." The public demands law enforcement agencies to respond to "the seizure of the premises of the administrative building and damage caused to the state".

Koshel suspected the worship structure of the UOC in the illegal functioning and non-payment of funds "for the use of premises, electricity and other communal services."

Earlier, protopriest Victor Yatsenko, rector of St. Vladimir temple, informed the UOJ that the temple was created in response to "the request of MPs and different factions more than 10 years ago." Also, the temple has never stopped working, and the powwow around its closure is caused by the intrigues of people looking for hype, according to the priest.
