Activists attack believers protesting against SLC in Dnieper

Protest action against the Single Local Church in Dnieper

The peaceful action of the UOC faithful, who came to the building of the regional administration with children, was held on the afternoon of May 21, writes the "Informator".

As reported, radical activists were already waiting for the believers on the site of the action, which had been announced in advance in social networks.

When one of the believers unfolded a poster with the words "The Kiev Patriarchate is not worthy of autocephaly", the activists tore up the poster, and the man was pushed to the ground.

Law enforcers, who were standing on the perimeter of the square near the administration, prevented a fight and surrounded the protesters to stop provocation.

Earlier in Nikolaev, nationalists from the "Sokol" organization and activists from the "Svoboda" party beat up believers of the UOC who came to protect the church under construction.
