UAOC Bishop: What secret addresses host UOC KP meetings?

UAOC Archbishop Afanasy (Vladimir Mikhailovich Shkurupiy) of Kharkov and Poltava

Statements by the Spokesman of the Kiev Patriarchate, Eustratiy Zoria, that in preparation for the unifying council “a consultation process is underway” perplexed the representative of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, about which he wrote on his Facebook page.

Earlier, in his commentary to UNIAN journalists regarding the run-up to the unification council, Zoria stated that “in any case, the consultation process is underway, and we, for our part, as the Church of the Kiev Patriarchate, are doing everything so that it will take a few weeks, not months, to accomplish this process."

The “Bishop” of the UAOC decided to inquire “where, when and with whom these 'consultations' are taking place.”

"In safe houses with a glass of whiskey?" Or in the back of the circus? And when is the exit to the arena?” he wondered on the page on the social network and stressed that “it is necessary to prepare the unification council via pre-councils, and not as someone whims. <...> and until the local council takes place, which will make the appropriate decision, all other decisions taken by unauthorized persons or solely are illegal.”

Earlier, the head of the UAOC, Makariy Maletich, stated that no negotiations were being held in this direction, and after the last meeting with the head of the UOC KP Filaret, at which the latter said that only his statute would be used, the UAOC leader began to question the success of the union.
