Four Primates meet in Cyprus to discuss the “Ukrainian issue”
Meeting of Primates of Alexandrian, Antioch, Jerusalem and Cyprus Churches
The meeting between Patriarch Theodoros of Alexandria and All Africa, Patriarch John X of Antioch and the entire East, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, and Archbishop Chrysostom II of Cyprus is held at the invitation of the latter. This is reported by Orthodoxia.
Experts suggest that the outcome of the meeting will be of great interest, since none of these Churches has voiced the official position so far in light of the granting of autocephaly to the OCU.
As the UOJ reported, the Patriarch of Alexandria, Theodoros II, said earlier that he was praying and worried about the church situation in Ukraine.
