Bishops of RCC in Ukraine congratulate Zelensky on election as President

The head of the Conference of the Roman Catholic Bishops of Ukraine Bronislav Bernatsky congratulated the newly elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The greetings were published by the Catholic Media Center (CMC).

“For all your service to the Ukrainian people, we wish you the generous grace of the Holy Spirit, which alone knows what is the greatest good for a person. May God's inspiration be ahead of your actions, the hand of the Lord govern your actions, and your ministry to the motherland be blessed,” says the RCC bishop in his greetings.

On behalf of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine, Bronislav Bernatsky expressed respect for the newly elected head of state "for the sincere intention of building a civilized, corruption-free and ethical-moral Ukrainian society".

“At this difficult time for Ukraine, when there is a serious struggle between the forces of good and evil, we assure you that the bishops, clergy, and laity of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine spiritually support the cause of the unity of our state and its peaceful way out of a difficult situation,” concluded representative of the RCC in Ukraine.
