Head of OCU meets with hierarch of Constantinople Church

On June 18, 2019, head of the OСU Epiphany Dumenko met with the hierarch of the Constantinople Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Makarios (Pavlidis) of Aneon, the OCU website reported.
During the meeting, the representative of Phanar discussed with Epiphany the process of recognizing the newly created religious organization by other Local Orthodox Churches and the situation in the religious life of Ukraine.
On the eve of the “Council” of the UOC KP, the Phanar hierarch visited also “Metropolitan” Mikhail Zinkevich. Metropolitan Makarios arrived in Volyn on June 15, 2019, on Holy Trinity memorial Saturday.
