UOC seized church desecrated and robbed in the village of Gnezdychno

On the night of July 11-12, 2019, unknown persons got into the Holy Transfiguration Church seized from the UOC in the village of Gnezdychno of the Zbarazh district, Ternopil region, reports the new rector of the church, “Archpriest” Ivan Lesik of the UOC-KP.
“According to the priest, the vandals desecrated the great shrines of the temple, as well as stole the icon of the Pochaev Mother of God. Because of the burglary, the Divine service was disrupted on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul,” reports "Tenews".
We recall that the Holy Transfiguration Church in the village of Gnezdychno was seized on March 3, 2019, with the help of the Right Sector fighters. Believers of the canonical Church, who entered the temple for negotiations, were beaten and driven out into the street. The takeover was led by the scandalous "cleric" of the UOC-KP Ivan Lesik.
Attempts to seize the temple in Gnezdychno had occurred before. So, on February 3, 2019, radicals with red and black stripes attacked the congregation and beat the rector trying to defend his temple. The police sided with the radicals.
