Filaret gathers about 300 people for “cross procession” of UOC KP

On July 28, 2018, the head of the UOC KP Filaret Denisenko held a “cross procession” around the St. Vladimir Cathedral, the main temple of the religious structure, reports "Strana.ua".

In particular, the edition notes that the celebration of the Christianization of Kievan Rus’ opened with an early "liturgy" at the St. Vladimir Cathedral at 7:00. Already at 10:00, Filaret Denisenko performed a late “liturgy”.

At about 12 o'clock in the afternoon, all the believers of the UOC-KP, who were at that time in the St. Vladimir Cathedral, went out for the “cross procession” led by Filaret.

According to “Strana.ua” journalists, the total number of participants in the “cross procession” of the UOC KP did not exceed 300-400 people.

We recall that at the same time, the slightly more numerous “Ukrainian cross procession” was held by the OCU. It gathered about 3,000 people.
