On October 16, 2019, the Kiev District Administrative Court deferred the appeal on the liquidation of the UOC-KP, reports “ZIK”.

Today's meeting, in fact, did not consider anything, and another court will continue to hear the case. The date and time of the meeting are to be announced tomorrow.

It is noted that the UOC-KP wanted to challenge the judges, but this did not happen because the judges considered that there were no reasons for the challenge.

We recall that the Kiev District Administrative Court is continuing to consider two court cases on the lawsuit of the UOC-KP: on the illegality of the abolition of the Statute of the UOC-KP by the Ministry of Culture and on the illegality of the liquidation commission created by the OCU headed by the OCU “bishop” John Yaremenko. The judges ruled that all registration and any other actions of the liquidation commission were suspended while the cases are being processed. The OCU appealed against these decisions.

As reported earlier, the judge who ruled to satisfy the claim of the UOC-KP against the Ministry of Culture declared pressure from the lawyers of the UOC-KP and recused itself.
