On January 27, 2020, the assistant to Metropolitan Savva of Warsaw and All Poland told RIA Novosti that the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church did not reject an invitation to attend the Council of Primates of Orthodox Churches in Jordan to discuss problems of Orthodox unity.

"It is not true. He didn’t refuse. If there is an official date, I think that he will participate,” said Father George.

Earlier media reported that Metropolitan Savva has rejected the invitation of Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem to visit the Council.

Recall that on November 21, 2019, during the presentation of the Prize of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Peoples, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem invited the Primates of the Local Orthodox Churches to discuss “the issue of maintaining our unity in Eucharistic communion”.
