President of Ukraine to meet with the Pope

On February 8, 2020, a meeting will be held between President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Pope Francis, according to the official website of the head of State.

The meeting will take place as part of Zelensky’s working visit to the Vatican, where he will also meet with the Secretary of State for the Holy See Pietro Parolin and the Secretary for Interstate Relations of the Holy See Paul Richard Gallagher.

Earlier, the head of the UGCC Sviatoslav Shevchuk said that he suggested that the head of State visit the pontiff in the Vatican.
