UOC community of seized church in Susval goes on a pilgrimage to Pochaev

On March 14, 2020, the community of Holy Nativity of the Virgin Church of the UOC in the village of Susval, Volyn region, made a pilgrimage trip to the Orthodox shrines of the Ternopil region. Pilgrims from other settlements of Volodymyr-Volynsk Eparchy of the UOC joined the group of believers, reports a UOJ correspondent.

The UOC parishioners visited the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra, where they participated in the morning Liturgy, the Pochaev Holy Spirit Monastery-Skete, the Kremenets Epiphany Convent, the St. Anna Spring in the village of Onyshkivtsi, Rivne region, which is located near the Pochaev Lavra.

The participants of the trip noted that they were allowed in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Monastery, currently closed to pilgrims due to renovation: the believers had the opportunity to assess the scale of the work already done.

In connection with preventive measures in places of pilgrimage to Orthodox shrines, the necessary security measures are observed.
