In the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy of the UOC, a video was published showing how during the attack in the Ivano-Frankivsk Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin, the thugs tried to break into the altar, the press service of the Ivano-Frankivsk diocese reports.

Recall that on December 11, 2022, at a meeting of Nikita (Storozhuk), the new Bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia, the titushki started a fight, trying to disrupt the hierarchal service.

According to the report, the thugs shouted obscene words in the temple, staged a brawl and a fight, sprayed an unknown substance, tried to disrupt the presentation of the new head of the Ivano-Frankivsk eparchy, Bishop Nikita (Storozhuk). The radicals deflated the wheels of cars that were parked on the territory of the cathedral in order to interfere with the movement of the clergy and parishioners.

Believers of the Ivano-Frankivsk diocese appeal to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv and the leaders of the Security Service of Ukraine to stop the persecution of Orthodox Christians and allow them to freely practice their faith, which is guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine.

As previously reported by the UOJ, the hierarch of the UOC commented on the conflict in Ivano-Frankivsk.
