On December 20, 2022, comedians from "Quarter 95" published another video in which they touched upon the Ukrainian Orthodox Church but did not apologize to it. The video was posted on the Youtube channel “Chisto News”.
The "humorists" said that after the scandalous video representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church sued them under Article 161 "Incitement of interfaith hatred". "Allegedly our company sets people against the UOC," the presenters explained with feigned surprise, after which they said that they "respect all religions and confessions" but do not accept "those who support Russian aggression, who undermine national security and statehood."
"And, of course, we believe in God ourselves," the artists added.
However, they did not apologise for mocking the Church and blasphemy, only noting that "only God and the AFU can decide if this is too much or not".
There are hundreds of negative comments under the video.
"Shame on Q95!!! This is not an apology!!! Remember, there are guys fighting in the AFU who are UOC believers and to them, them and their relatives you owe a proper apology!!! And there is, after all, the law, and you have to answer to the law as citizens of Ukraine!" reacted Victoria Odessa.
"Yes, God will decide everything, but I'm afraid you won't like His decision. And our priests have children serving in the AFU, they help thousands of displaced people every day, more than 100 litres of the blood of "Moscow's priests" are in the veins of wounded AFU fighters. Aid has been collected for the front in millions of hryvnias and in hundreds of tonnes. But it's not funny, is it?" reminds Marina Kudinova.
"Q95, I'll throw you a new joke topic for the next issue – let's laugh together at how many of your children have you sent to the front line? Why aren't you on the front line? Two big well-fed guys are still discussing the UOC... UOC fathers send their grandchildren to the frontline and collect tons of humanitarian aid for the displaced. You are still a long way from them," Anna Anna is outraged.
"If you have ‘respect’ for religion, then call the Church by its real name – the UOC, that is, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church! Without adding MP. Nobody calls you some 'Quarter 95 of Kolomoisky'," notes Oleksandr Veresh.
"Guys, why aren't strong, courageous and patriotic like you at the front? They are already waiting for you in Bakhmut... You get greetings from the guys from the zero line for supporting the home front," T.V. Mikhailenko sneered.
"Continuing your logic, if among the artists there turned out to be some traitors, then you as artists are also traitors, and all artists should be banned, and since traitor artists used to be shown on TV, we close all television wholesale," Marinka Mandarinka suggests.
As reported, “Q95” comedians "joked" about the NSDC's decision to ban the UOC in Ukraine, after which the UOC's legal department filed a complaint with the police demanding an investigation under Article 161 "incitement of interfaith hatred".
