Drabinko blesses the cleric involved in homoscandal to serve in seized temple

Oleksiy Bondarev was appointed rector of the "tranferred" temple of the UOC. Collage: UOJ

On December 25, 2022, in the village of Rusaniv, Velyka Dymerka territorial community, the authorities and representatives of the OCU organized a “transition” of the St. Nicholas community of the UOC. This is reported by the Tribuna-Brovary website.

According to the resource, "the community passes into the subordination of the Pereyaslav-Vyshneve diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine", which is headed by Oleksandr (Drabinko). Drabinko appointed Oleksiy (Bondarev) rector of the new community.

Bondarev is one of the figures in Drabinko's scandalous homo-correspondence with some young people, which was published in the media in February 2021. Its screenshots were posted by the Churcher telegram channel, on the basis of which A. Shariy made an exposing video “A Little Secret of the OCU”.

Later, blogger Alexander Voznesensky posted screenshots of Bondarev's page from the Hornet gay dating site, where he calls himself "Reverend" and specifies his preferences in intimate relationships.

Despite all this, Drabinko ordained Bondarev first as a deacon and then as a hieromonk. During 2022, Bondarev was a clergyman of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Teremky residential area of Kyiv. Now he was appointed rector in the "transferred" church of Rusaniv village.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Oleksandr (Drabinko) called himself the creator of the “Russian world” ideology.
