Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra offers prayers for priests who died of COVID-19

On May 13, 2020, in the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, prayers were offered for the clergy who died of COVID-19, and all were remembered by name, reports the UOC Information Center.

The Divine Liturgy in the Academic Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God was led by the UOC Chancellor, Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich).

During the Liturgy, the names of all the deceased clergy who died of COVID-19 were remembered.

Special petitions were also offered for getting rid of the coronavirus and for the health of the doctors.

As reported earlier, the Primate of the UOC blessed all eparchies to participate in the fight against the pandemic.
