In military unit No. 3008 of Vinnytsia, the first stone in the foundation of the future OCU church in honor of St. George the Victorious was laid by the unit commander, reports the Depo.Vinnytsia publication.

According to the publication, the ceremony was held by "archbishop" Mikhail of Vinnytsia and Tulchyn of the OCU, but the first stone was laid by Colonel Vladimir Dzhula.

“Archpriest” Mikhail, the military chaplain of the OCU, is going to serve as a rector of the church, which is planned to be completed before the end of this year.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Vinnytsia’s ATO veterans threatened the UOC with the use of “decisive action”.
