UOC announces fundraising for earthquake victims in Turkey

With the blessing of His Beatitude, Metropolitan Onuphry, all eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church announced fundraising for those affected by the series of earthquakes in Turkey, which occurred on February 6, 2023, reports news.church.ua.

The Kyiv Metropolis Office sent the corresponding circular letter to all the eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on February 11, 2023.

The fundraising will run until 9 March 2023.

As earlier reported, a Ukrainian woman and her child were rescued from under the rubble for the fourth day in Turkey.
