On June 5, 2020, near the walls of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the LGBT representatives of the Ukrainian public organization KyivPride held a protest rally against the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov. The participants showed a poster with a quote from the Epistle of the Holy Apostle Paul.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12),” wrote KyivPride on one of the posters, a photo of which was published by the online edition “Strana.UA” on its Telegram channel “Politika Strany”.

It is noteworthy that it was in this Epistle that the Apostle Paul called on the people to “stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness (Eph. 6: 14)."

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Eph. 6: 16-17),” wrote the Holy Apostle Paul

Earlier, Ombudsman of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights Nikolai Kuleba was demanded to apologize for his post about gays.
