Assistant custodian of the Near Caves of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Father Stefan said how the Commission of the Ministry of Culture checked the relics, reports “1Kozak” YouTube channel.

"During the last month there were two commissions from the Ministry of Culture, they visited the caves, evaluated the state of the relics and were satisfied with their state, especially members of the last commission, they said they were delighted with what they saw," said Father Stefan.

"Perhaps the commission members were hoping to see confrontation or conflict, but everything went well. We communicated well with them, they had no complaints to us," he said.

The assistant to the overseer said that the commission members hope to continue to cooperate with the monks of UOC in the preservation and care of the relics of Venerable Kyiv Caves Fathers.

As reported, the Ministry of Culture explained why the UOC is being expelled from the Lavra.
