On March 26, 2023, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Onuphry led a solemn worship service in the square near the Church of the Cross Exaltation of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, reports the UOC press service.
In his sermon, the Primate asked everyone to pray for the brethren of the Lavra, who are being expelled from the monastery.
"There is a strong prayer in the holy monastery. The world does not live by talk but by prayer. I ask you, brothers and sisters, to pray for the brethren, that they may perform their service here and offer their prayers from now on – for the whole world, for our army, the authorities and all of us," said His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry.
As previously reported, His Beatitude led the Liturgy near the Church of the Cross Exaltation in the Lavra.
