On July 8, 2020, during a protest rally against the investigation of the crimes of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko near the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv, the politician’s wife, Marina Poroshenko, called the gathering “brothers and sisters in Poroshenko”. The live broadcast of the event is conducted by the Priamy TV Channel.

“I welcome you, dear ‘brothers and sisters in Poroshenko’," Poroshenko's wife addressed the mob at the Pechersk Court.

In her speech, she emphasized that the protesters against the investigation of Poroshenko’s crimes had arrived at the court to prevent the repressive regime from “doing its dirty deeds”. One of these "dirty deeds", according to the spouse of the former President of Ukraine, is criticism of the Tomos for the OCU.

“They are attacking our Tomos, and yesterday the revenge-seekers again attacked our language. And they do all this in order to muzzle us with these senseless actions,” she said.

According to Maryna Poroshenko, the actions of the Ukrainian government are aimed at ensuring that no one prevents the country from “returning to the iron grip of the Kremlin”.

Poroshenko previously boasted of the creation of the OCU, which became a "bone in the throat of the aggressor".
