Metropolitan Pavel sent under house arrest

Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed), the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, said he has been placed under house arrest, reports the telegram channel vestiukr_ua.

"I have been given house arrest," Metropolitan Pavel said in a conversation with parishioners.

According to the Lavra's legal service, Metropolitan Pavel was summoned to the Kyiv Shevchenkivsky Court at 11:30 am, where he is given a measure of restraint – 24-hour house arrest.

As reported, the SBU reported that the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is under suspicion.
