The head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, said that the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is defended by the adepts of the "Russian world" ideology, who have anti-Ukrainian sentiments.
In an interview published on the Espresso YouTube channel, Dumenko said that the monks of the UOC should leave the Lavra, and the defenders of the monastery have “anti-Ukrainian sentiments.”
“We see who they gathered there, with what moods. With anti-Ukrainian sentiments,” Dumenko said.
According to him, the defense of the Lavra is “practically 'anti-Maidan' during this brutal war, when our new heroes, our military, civilians, and children die every day,” Epifaniy said.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that an activist advocating the eviction of the monks of the Lavra told them what to do: shoot the abbot, beat the priests and drive them out.
