Abbess Seraphim (Shevchik) of the Odessa Archangel-Michael Convent said that the entire hierarchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is now under pressure – she is required to change her confession. Mother Seraphima wrote about this on her Facebook page.

Call. "Matushka, don't you want to meet with Epifaniy? Transfer to the OCU?" – Refusal. Call again – how about Constantinople? – Refusal. And there are many such calls,” noted the abbess. “There is pressure along the entire vertical of the UOC. But how can we change the oath?!”

As the UOJ wrote, the Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC, Metropolitan Meletiy of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, said that during a search in the diocesan administration, one of the SBU representatives advised him, “If you want to stop this circus and live in peace, join the OCU."
