His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, who came to the Kyi- Pechersk Lavra to support the monks and believers, also addressed those who for several days in a row are doing their best to "save" the monastery from its parishioners and inhabitants.

According to a UOJ correspondent, in response to a reporter's question as to what could be said to the protesters, the Archbishop reminded them that each of us will face God's Judgment.

"To those who dance and sing on the place which is watered with the tears, blood and sweat of our ascetics, I would like to say: do not blaspheme and desecrate the sanctuary with your indecent behaviour. May God help them, may they all repent and be saved," added the Primate.

We remind you that the UOJ Telegram channel is broadcasting live the developments in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
