Lutsk terrorist enters His Beatitude Onuphry into a "black list"

On July 21, 2020, in the center of Lutsk, Volyn region, an armed terrorist seized a bus with hostages and threatens to blow up people.

Currently, the identity of the terrorist is being established. According to preliminary information, we are talking about a man who calls himself "Maxim Plokhoy (the Bad)" and the author of the book "Philosophy of the Criminal", which he refers to in his social networks.

On the Twitter account and the Vkontakte page of the alleged terrorist, entries appear explaining his demands. In particular, he mentions the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

There are a lot of people with me, automatic guns, grenades, two bombs, the third in a crowded place in the city; all will explode if there is not the following: heads of courts (kcu, scu), supreme council of justice, attorney general, min. justice, dir. criminal executive serv., prime minister, head of the Verkhovna Rada, minister of defense, head of the SBU, heads of Churches: Filaret, Epiphany, Onuphry, Shevchuk, Akhmet Tamim, of Protestant, Roman-Cath., also: Avakov, Poroshenko, Akhmetov, Kolomoisky, Pinchuk , Medvedchuk, – everyone is posting on their YouTube pages a video message with the text: ‘I am a full name, position, I am a terrorist in law’.” President Zelensky publishes a video message with the text: “The film “Earthlings” of 2005 for everyone to watch". Also: my death is not a hindrance to explosions ... So: Truth from the lips of the 24 will save the lives of hundreds. Happy Antisystem Day. Do not be fooled. Celebrate the truth," says the messages that were published on the social networks of "Maxim the Bad".

The day before, on July 20, a short video message appeared on the YouTube channel of Maxim the Bad with a similar appeal to “celebrate the truth”. On July 21, a few hours after the hostage-taking, the YouTube channel was removed, but the video has already been widely disseminated in the media.

The seizure of hostages in Teatralnaya Square in the centre of Lutsk took place at 9:25 am, there are approximately 10 to 20 people inside the seized bus, there is no information about the victims. Eyewitnesses report hearing the sounds of shots and broken glass. The SBU said that together with other law enforcement agencies they are doing everything possible to eliminate the threat and release the hostages. The Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov urgently flew to the scene of the incident to coordinate the actions, and the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky also responded to the situation.
